The Wheels On the Bus

I slept in this morning. Again. So I'm off to buy a new alarm clock (the radio function is touch-and-go as to whether or not it wants to play). But enough about that. When I phoned the bus barn to tell them that Joel wouldn't be on the bus this morning, the director told me that Joel's driver is quitting. I'm thinking she's finally realized that she isn't cut out for this line of work. I ended up driving Joel to school because when you wake up at 8:12 and the bus comes at 8:30, there just isn't enough time to dress and feed him. I got to the school around 9:00 and I got to sing O Canada with his grade four class (it's been 2 1/2 years since I sang that with an elementary class...fun!). By the time I left the school at 9:10, Joel's bus still hadn't shown up. Maybe his driver had a Britney-esque meltdown on the way to school...
