Shandi has been in one obedience class and two agility classes. The pros of the obedience class are that she can sit, lay down, roll over, shake-a-paw, give me ten, sit-wait, down-wait, sit-stay, down-stay, bark quiet, bark loud and pray. The pros of the agility class is that she learned to manoeuver through small spaces at a quick speed. The con of the obedience class is that Shandi has learned she only needs to listen when food is the goal. The con of the agility class is that Shandi learned to run very, very fast.
So, what do you get when you put these two negatives together? Shandi, escaping through the hole in our fence, as fast as she can, to get out into the park behind our house. She doesn't look back, she doesn't pass go and she doesn't collect two hundred dollars. I think part of the reason she runs so fast is because she knows she is going to catch hell when she finally gets home.
