Slow Motion

This weekend has been a total haze. With my sinuses all plugged, my balance is thrown off and my head feels like it weighs about 50 pounds. I spent most of the weekend sleeping. Mike has done a most excellent job of taking care of me and the house.

I managed to drag my sorry ass into work on Friday and, at lunch, Mike had grilled cheese sandwiches and soup waiting for me when I got home. He has done all the laundry this weekend, fixed the screen door, cleaned the litter box and put up blinds in the spare bedroom. In the mean time, I could only manage to shuffle back and forth from the bed to the kitchen to get a cup of soup.

Since the weather has turned so nice, I really wanted to get the garage cleaned out and start hauling stuff to the dump. Oh well...there's always next weekend. For now, I'm climbing back into bed before my body collapses under the weight of my gigantic cranium.
