Not The Same

You know how when the end of your shoelace is frayed and it won't fit through the eyelet anymore and how you can just take a lighter and melt all the little pieces of lace so that it's one melted clump and it all stays together?

Apparently that same lighter trick doesn't work when you're trying to melt the elastic string of a cat toy in an attempt to stop it from constantly slipping off the plastic rod (the elastic string has a catnip-filled fish on the other end). You just end up setting the whole toy on fire.

I had no idea catnip was flammable.

Or that my white cat can climb walls.

Well, she was white...
