Little Bit Of This, Little Of That

* It's been one of those weeks. I've quit blogging about the throwing up and what not because it gets tiresome hearing someone complain about being sick all the time. So let me just say I hit the 14 week mark yesterday and the throwing up shows no signs of stopping. And the nosebleeds have begun. Do you know how much fun it is to throw up with a nosebleed and then when you go to brush your teeth, your gums bleed? It's pure awesomeness, let me tell you.

* Mix the nausea/sickness with a little depression and you've got yourself one hell of a party over at our house. It gets easier once they're born right? No troubles or sadness or sickness, right? RIGHT????

* The one highlight of my week has been the baby robins. They are almost a week old and they are just the most precious things I have ever seen. They have fluffy plumes of feathers on the tops of their heads that make them look like little Einsteins. Everytime their little heads peak over the nest, my heart just stops. Yesterday, I sat and dug up worms for a half hour to help out the single mama. And there you have my charity work for this month :-)

* Mike and I are heading to my cousin's wedding on Saturday. I'm looking forward to hanging out with my dad's side of the family. I love how much they love to laugh...I could use some of that right now.

* My decorations for the bday bash have been shipped and should be here sometime next week. And I think we all know I'm totally going to decorate the house next weekend.

* My brother and his wife bought a new house in Saskatoon that they take possession of at the end of the month (their old house finally sold, but not without some drama). I'm excited to help with the move/cleaning at the new house (I've seen enough of the old one lol)...I guess it'll mostly be putting stuff away and not so much with the lifting.

* And lastly...I think I am going to wear my maternity work pants long after I've given birth. I started wearing my mat pants last week and, while I'm not thrilled about how the back of the pants appear to be low rise (I have to be verrrrrrry careful when I bend over to tie my shoe), I quite like that my tummy is finally unrestricted by waist bands. No one can even tell that I'm wearing my mat pants since my work jacket hangs low enough, you can't see the zipper/crotch area of them even when I'm wearing normal pants. I have to pick up my other pair of mat pants next week and I'm hoping these ones didn't turn into low risers too. I guess it doesn't matter since there will come a time soon enough when I can't bend over anyways :-)

Little Einstein #1 crying for more food. What a little piggy!
