Last week, we borrowed a Jumperoo from a friend. The instant Katelyn settled into it, she began to shriek with glee. It was cute. At first. Over the last seven days, Katelyn has fine tuned her shrieking to the point where it is so far from being cute, it has done a full circle and come back around again. No, I don't want to inhibit her while she's discovering her voice, but holy hell! can she SCREAM! She can hit such high notes, each time she screams, the neighbourhood dogs end up on our front steps.
She screams when she's happy. She screams when she's tired. She screams while I'm changing her. And I'm pretty sure she can scream while she's screaming (cuz she's just that good at it). I miss the days when all she would do is blow raspberries :-)
(the following video starts off with the camera laying off to the side in her crib...if I hold it up in front of her face, she stops what she's doing and stares at the pretty red recording light) :-)
