Five On Friday

1) There is good reason for a total lack of pictures on this blog.  Our Macbook Air has been in the shop for a solid month now.  Not sure what they're doing to it, but it must be very broken to have it take this long.  I can only upload photo from the Air because iPhoto on the iMac is locked in a different screen and I can't access it which means either a phone call to Apple or taking the iMac in to get fixed as well. So there's that.

2) Andrew and I are on our way back up to the lake today.  Mike and I had some friends and their children up to the cabin this week and just got home on Thursday.  Katelyn wasn't home for more than three hours when she jumped back in with Grandma and Grandpa and headed back up with them.  A and I are joining them today as I needed to do laundry and repack some groceries.

3) Andrew's speech language appointments have been…interesting.  He clings to me for most of the time and doesn't want to cooperate.  We have an appt. today and we're going to try not having me in the room and seeing how he fairs with that.  He's had plenty of time to warm up to the therapist and I think things will be fine.

4) I bought Seacret shampoo and conditioner in an effort to combat my eczema on my scalp.  The stupid thing is that because it was so expensive, I don't want to use it as often.  The only way my scalp is going to get better is if I use it everyday.  The other reason I should use it everyday is because it makes my hair ridiculously curly.  Who knew this chick had so much natural curl?!?

5) I've bought the majority of the kids' back to school clothes already.  I hit up Old Navy for their shirts and pants, but will wait for Value Village's 50% sale in August to round out what I'm missing.  It's tough to find good boys' clothes in Andrew's size as boys are so tough on their clothes at that age.  I always score big at VV for Katelyn…can always find a ton of Roxy and Bench clothes for her in her size!

And so it goes...
