Happy Birthday Mom!
I hope you're having a wonderful time in Hawaii and I was happy to hear that the Walmart in Maui has the exact same layout as the one here in town. I realize more and more everyday that I am becoming more like you and while some children might detest that, I embrace it. Your sense of thriftiness didn't completely hit the mark with me, but over the years, I have become much more mindful of our money. My organizational skills and love of planning have definitely been inherited from you. And when people tell me how much I look like my mother, I take it as a huge compliment. On a final thought, my therapist assures me that the mistakes you made in raising me were quite common. Have a wonderful day!
