I love making lists. I make lists of the lists I need to make. I write lists at work of what I need to photocopy, find, and prepare for individual lessons. I make lists at home of what needs to be done on a daily basis. I write out lists of the weekly menus. When we road trip, I make lists of what to pack for clothes, food and entertainment (as well as an accompanying list of what needs to be done before we leave). When we were renovating, we had lists coming out the wazoo - lists for what needed to be done, who we had to phone, where we had to go and what we needed to buy. Out of all these lists, I would have to say my most glorified achievement has to be my grocery lists.
I start with a basic rough copy of what is needed in the household. I rewrite it and divide items into the appropriate categories (dairy, meat, bakery etc.) and then I rewrite it one more time. I list the categories in the appropriate order of my route around the store. As mentioned earlier, I hate Superstore with a passion so the less time I have to spend in that place, the better. I'm starting to think my OCD is sliding down the scale a little bit more at a time.
Hahah i can relate to that to. Especially the part about dividing the different elements in differents listings and then rewriting those lists !
