A Day For Me

I'm heading to Saskatoon for the day on Saturday. My parents are leaving for their seven week vacation in Australia (seriously? When did parents stop taking their kids with them? It's just not fair!) so I'm driving down to see them off. We'll go for breakfast before they board their plane. After that, the day is all mine!

I have a couple things on my list of "me" things. I want to go to Don's Photo and oogle at all the pretty camera stuff. I doubt I'll buy anything, but I just want to see what's out there. I also want to go to Addition Elle and pick up a new pair of jeans or two. And maybe some pajamas. And some tops. After that, I am going to go check out Bath Goddess. I looked at their blog tonight and watched a short video about the store...it looks like I could have a lot of fun there! There are tons of different scents to pick from...I better set aside a solid hour to sniff them all!

Last on my list is to try and pop in somewhere to get my hair cut. I have debated this over the last little while and I think it is time for it to go. While I love the length of my hair, I only wear it in a ponytail/bun. I love the bangs, so I will keep those, but the rest of the bulk has to go. Every night, I put my hair in two braids. Most women would kill to have hair as thick as one of my braids. To get an idea of how thick my hair is, grab four face clothes and pile them one on top of the other. Soak them with water and then wring all four of them out as one big, twisty knot...that's how thick my wet pony tail is. Don't even get me started about how thick it is when it's dry :-) I will be getting rid of close to seven inches in length...yikes!
