When I was about 12 years old, my daily routine included coming home from school and flopping down on the couch in the basement to watch TV. Shortly after I got home, my brother would plunk himself down on the other couch and fall asleep. Brady would sleep for an hour or so and normally wake up just in time to watch "Jeopardy" at 5:30.
He must have thought I was the smartest 12 year old ever because I would shout out every single answer and get them all right. Correct answers like "Who are the Mayans?" and "What is the War of 1812?" or "Who is Tolstoy?" continued to impress Brady.
It wasn't until a year or so ago that I let him in on my secret...I used to watch the first episode of "Jeopardy" at 4:30 and memorize all the answers.
I did that once when Shawn Russin was my partner for some class project. It really freaked him out.
