The Extent Of Her Fussing

Last night, while I was studying up on how to be a better mommy, I came across a section that talked about babies and their crying. The book said that by the time a baby is six weeks old, she should be crying up to three hours a day (and that this would be the most crying they would do in their lifetime unless they are collicky). I couldn't help but choke while reading that...Katelyn hasn't even cried a total of three hours since she was born.

When she's needing something, she lets out a shriek. If we don't or can't get to her quick enough, she lets out a couple more, but I have yet to hear a full blown wail out of her. I don't even know if her tears are in yet. She does have her fussy moments, like when we're not quick enough getting her bottle ready. As you'll see in the video below, her fussy moments could be comparable to other babies good moments.

I'm just in absolute awe at how good things are going. And trust me that I am both aware and thankful that Katelyn is so content.
