How To Make Library Trips More Fun

Last week, as I was heading out the door to go to the library, Mike called after me to grab him some books.  When I asked what he felt like reading, he answered with, "Surprise me".  Those are dangerous words, my dear husband.

Upon returning home, I handed Mike his pile of books.  His reading repetoire included:

"Managing Herpes: How To Live and Love With A Chronic STD"

"Ants of North America: A Guide To The Genera"

"Betty Crocker's Soups and Stews Cookbook"

"A Blue's Clues Holiday"

"The Zombie Survival Guide: Complete Protection From The Living Dead"

Besides this eclectic selection, I picked up a couple books on OCD, one on how to raise an unspoiled child, a few on baby sign language and a book about Area 51 (a real book for Mike to read).  I would LOVE to know what the librarian was thinking as she scanned my books :-)

  1. My husband didn't find it as funny at first, but we've had a good laugh reading passages out loud from the herpes book :-)
