Her First Trip

We spent the long weekend at the cabin.  When Mike and I left the lake last October, I cradled my belly and imagined the baby's first trip back to the lake.  I was so excited to introduce Katelyn to my 'heaven on earth'.  I can't wait until the water is a little warmer so we can enjoy her first dip in the lake!

Even though the weather didn't co-operate, it was still a really great weekend. We read.  We napped.  We played games.  Some people fished.  We napped some more.  We had great meals.  Always always always a good time at the lake.

And, of course, Katelyn was her usual angelic little self.  I was hoping she wasn't suddenly going to have a bad weekend and totally blow my "she's SUCH a good baby" talk right out of the water.  But, as the cabin quieted down each night and all nine people and three dogs climbed into bed, you never would have known there was a four month old amongst them.

And, of course, we napped with Daddy!
