I've spent the last two days prepping all our junk and my parents' junk for a garage sale. There have been many moments that I've thought about loading everything up and taking it down to the Salvation Army. But then I realized if I put that much energy into hauling everything outside, I may as well take the one extra step and price everything.
Judging by the way I'm pricing things, we are not in this to make money. Except for the big ticket items like a fish tank or a Gazelle trainer thingy, I don't think there's anything over $3.00. Most items are marked at .50. I just want to get rid of everything! Once everything was priced and sorted, I actually walked around the house and started grabbing random things to get rid of - Mike tucked in his shirt in the event that I tried to rip it off him and sell it :-)
I hate hosting garage sales. Ugh.
i've always said i would have a garage sale to get rid of stuff around the house but i get too lazy that it ends up in the good will bins in the home depot parking lot or at the dump.
