Something I love about myself.
Right off the bat, I know the answer to this one - my creativity. And not in the artsy-fartsy sense. When I think of my creativity, I think of "coming up with off-the-wall ideas to fix something". Like the time one of my tetra fishies was sick and I wanted to quarantine him, but I only had the one large, aerated aquarium. Hmmmm...what to do, what to do? Using an old goldfish bowl, some drinking straws taped together and an extra hole in our fish tank bubble maker, I successfully created a new tank for the little guy to live in. He ended up dying anyways, but that's not the point - the point was that I made the new fish tank.
Or the time I lived in an apartment that had vaulted ceilings with a thick wooden beam running across the top. The beam had nails in it (to hang plants from), but I was lacking a step ladder. What I did have was a hammer, nails and a broom handle. Bent nail pounded into end of broom handle = tool with which to lift a hanging potted plant up to the beam. Now, I didn't have a hanging potted plant, but that's not the point... :-)
Over the last ten years, I have found crafty, creative ways to make items I have on hand into something needed at the time. Don't have a cat carrier? Laundry basket + old towels + duct tape will do just fine. Just make sure you put the cat in the laundry basket before you wrap the duct tape around and around and around the basket.
I like to think that if I was a caveman in my past life, I was the one to discover fire. Actually - scratch that. I'm kind of lazy, so instead of fire, I would have been the one to invent electricity and natural gas so as to avoid having to go outside in the cold and chop wood to heat my cave.
