Since it's Easter and all, my timing couldn't be better to start my crawl back to the living. For the past six days, I have done nothing but sleep, snort, sneeze, cough, slurp and wheeze. You know how when you've had a band-aid on for a real long time and when you try and pull it off, all the skin and hair is stuck to the gluey part and it stretches and pulls and then finally snaps off? That's what it was like when I took my pajamas off this morning. I have lived in my pjs all week and I swear my skin was starting to prune just a little bit.
My sinuses are finally starting to clear a little, but my vertigo is going strong. I made an attempt to return to work this morning. Let's just say that didn't go so well. By 8:30am, I wanted to hand the students the answer keys, curl up in the bottom of my supply closet and sleep for the rest of the morning. I made it until lunch time, came home and slept until supper.
Since my head is still wrapped in a total fog, I really don't have much else to say so I will leave you with this: I found this website last week and fell in love with it. I almost wish that I hadn't just done a massive purge, otherwise I would have a blast buying up all the kitschy, cool, silly gadgets. Well, maybe just one or two things.... ;-)
That is a neat website! However I checked and they do not currently ship to Canada :P
ReplyDeleteI like the condiment gun and the different nose cups.
Argh! I didn't check for where they ship to! Darn :(
ReplyDeleteMy favourites are the denture ice cube tray (I used to have dentures) and the LED light for your faucet. Oh well...I'll keep watching and maybe they'll change their shipping destinations. Or else I will have to befriend an American :)
I saw a denture ice cube tray at Twisted Goods today!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are still alive, and thanks for the pajama visual, LOL!
