I didn't even know there was space available.
They must have done it while we were asleep.
They moved in very quickly and very quietly.
I noticed that they helped themselves to some things from our yard though.
But it appears as though they are getting ready for a baby (or two or three or four), so I'll forgive them.
I snuck over while the new neighbours were away and snapped some pictures of their house.
I'm going to try and catch a picture of them inside their new house sometime (but I'll have to be very careful so that I don't spook them).
My mom and dad had a robin's nest just outside our front door on a little ledge. Be careful, when there are baby birds, they get quite protective. I remember getting swooped at by an angry mom and I wasn't even that close.
ReplyDeleteOMG!!! The above situation would be your worst nightmare. That is bound to happen to you...just because you love birds sooo much! lol
ReplyDeleteThey're so sweeet!! You are lucky to have a nest right there. We see one when we go to my mother in law... the little robins are so cute with those little flat beaks sticking out and crying out for food!
ReplyDeletePS Could you show more of your garden and home now that it's all green???
