Hey Soul Sister

When Katelyn and I find ourselves with only each other to dine with, I move her high chair next to the computer. Typically, we listen to podcasts (like "This Is That" on CBC radio), but sometimes we just listen to music. A few nights ago, I discovered that iTunes has a visualizer (that screen that makes funky swirls and designs). When I turned it on, Katelyn immediately lost interest in anything other than breathing. She could. not. take her eyes off the screen.

The following video begins with the visualizer turned off and a quick shot of Katelyn engaging with the world around her (momentarily). Once the visualizer turns on, she gets lost in its mesmerizing display of colours and movement. She is briefly distracted by the sound of Shandi walking by and later when I shove the camera in her face. Towards the end, she starts to get her groove on and dance a wee bit. Never a dull moment with this one :-)

* I know the video is small and kind of fuzzy, but let's face it - at least I was able to finally get the damn thing uploaded
