Five On Friday

{one} I can't believe I let a whole month slip by without posting a single thing.  Whoops.  Time really does fly when you're having fun, I guess.  I've talked with my counsellor about the guilt I feel over not posting.  I want to keep my reader levels up and engaged, but I find it hard to sit down and find stuff to write about several times a week.  I guess since I'm feeling as well as I am, I should make that a goal of mine - even blogging twice a week to start with would be better than nothing.

{two} I, like Christy, have been watching Fuller House and liking it.  I can't stand Bob Saget…I didn't like him in the original series and I dislike him even more in this one.  Thank goodness he doesn't have a regular role!!  I'm not binge watching it - I only watch one or two episodes an evening and that's enough for me.

{three} Indoor soccer is coming to an end for Katelyn.  Registration for Spring Soccer is on March 7th and 8th.  I'm debating about signing her up since it's twice a week for an hour, from 5:30-6:30.  Mike is switching over his shifts in April to days and nights (12 hours from 6:30-6:30).  Right now he's only working nights and the soccer would be doable.  But throw day shifts into the mix and suddenly she's missing practises and games.  I can't haul Andrew and Joel to the soccer pitch and I don't know anyone else playing to pawn Katelyn off on for rides.  My parents are going away for most of April and May so I don't even have them to use.  My last resort would be putting K in a cab but there's no way I'm going to do that! So it looks like Miss K will have to sit out Spring Soccer.

{four} So my super ultra secret project that I was working on? It has begun and most of you know what it is.  For reasons I can't explain right now, I can't reveal on the blog what that secret project is.  Oooooh…mystery shrouded in mystery! In about two and half months, I'll be able to reveal it.  And no, I'm not pregnant!

{five} Twice a week, I've been watching a friend's little boy.  It is good for Andrew to work on his social skills, having another friend in the house to play with.  I try to run the day like a preschool, but not as structured.  There's plenty of free play time, but we do story time and craft time, in between snacks and lunch.  It's been really good so far! We've had some hiccups and some missed days, but those things happen.  Hopefully now we can get into a regular routine!

    1. It's the shows that leave you hanging and wanting to find out more that I binge watch. Fuller House isn't like that. Not even the final episode!

  3. I loved the original full house but for some reason I just cannot bring myself to watch Fuller House maybe because it is the identical show from the original except the sex of all characters have been switched.

    1. I've started watching the original Full House now. Only four episodes in but loving it just as much now as I did then! I say give two episodes a whirl (since the first one is really just a reunion show) and if you don't like it after that, you won't like it.
