Bath Goddess Review

I figured I would give a quick review of the Bath Goddess products I bought back in February.

The Caramel Latte lotion: love love love this lotion! I'm trying to use it sparingly, but it is so tough. I seriously want to grab an apple, dip it in the lotion and eat it! The downfall: the price ($17.00 for 8 oz...ouch!)

The Regina Beach soap: the only positive for the soap was the original smell (before I took it out of the package). After one use, it started to smell like dirt. Also, the bar is so big and bulky (like putting two bars of soap side by side) that it is tough to hang on to it. The third negative thing is that it lightly stained my acrylic tub. Lastly, the price is, again, a downfall. For a bar of soap that costs $8.50, there shouldn't be any negatives!

The reed diffuser: totally unimpressive. Again, the oil smells really nice, but the aroma travels in about a three inch diameter and then peters out. I even had five reeds stuck in the oil (more reeds should equal more smell). Plus, the oil evaporated super quickly. I bought a reed diffuser last April from Isabella's Imports (which, I am proud to say, was the store my brother started and named after his daughter) and not only does it still have oil in it, its aroma fills the entire living room and dining room. The Isabella's Import's diffuser was only $16.00 and has lasted over a year. Bath Goddess diffuser? A whopping $27.50 for only one month of use!

So, as much as I love my lotion, I'm afraid I am no longer a fan of Bath Goddess. While I think it is great that it's a Saskatchewan based business, I'm curious to know how many other customers are one-time buyers after being disappointed by over-priced, under quality products.
